Darwin, Evolution and Lace
An exhibition by Shrewsbury Lacemakers to celebrate forty years of lacemaking.
Monday 26th September to Friday 7th October 2022 (Sunday excluded).
At the Bear Steps Gallery, St Alkmunds Place, Shrewsbury SY1 1UH.
Admission free.

Meetings are held every month at

Bayston Hill Memorial Hall, Lyth Hill Road, Bayston Hill SY3 0DR.
Currently we are wearing masks (if possible) when we move around the hall and bringing our own mugs and spoons for tea/coffee making.

We usually meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month 10.00am - 3.30pm, but check the dates here.

Meetings are friendly and informal. Bring your pillow and join us to make lace and chat.
Our experienced professional Tutor is usually in attendance to help and advise us with our lacemaking problems. There are also members willing to help.
Beginners are always welcome. We have pillows and bobbins for absolute beginners to try so that you can be sure lacemaking is for you before you invest in equipment.
We also have a comprehensive library of books, magazines, DVDs and patterns.
